An awe-inspiring piece of literature, Orwell not only presents us with a brutally depressing dystopia, but a flawlessly crafted one as well. He manages to be so descriptive about so little, Im such a way that you really feel for what characters there are in the book, and the empathy you feel for them and the predicament of mankind is unrivalled, particularly in the closing chapters. The root of all dystopian sci-fi, this book and its haunting themes shall remain with us forever

Orwell's brilliant description of a totalitarian dystopia. More relevant than ever, nearly 60 years after it was published.

The dystopian unmasterpiece everyone swears by. If you've only read what's been given to you in High School, this is your favorite, isn't it?
