In 2009 Lincoln appeared in the stage production of Parlour Song. He went back to England after filming the Sky One TV series Strike Back in South Africa.He also starred alongside Vanessa Paradis in the French film Heartbreaker.
In 2010, Lincoln was cast as Rick Grimes, the primary protagonist in the surprised hit live-action zombie series “The Walking Dead”.

Rick is extremely moral and very virtuous. I thought his compassion would be his downfall but he changes in season 3, he adjusts to the fact that he can't save everyone. I enjoyed his character development."

Andrew Lincoln is one really powerful actor and really brings Rick to the screen. Rick is losing it bit by bit. Seeing his dead wife in every corner. I probably wouldn't trust him as a leader these days though until he got his shit together though. Listen to Carl man and step down for awhile you have way to much stress on your shoulders."

 The Walking Dead's best characters*Updated S3E16* (30 person items)"Didn't really like Rick in season one, he got a bit more tolerable in two and now hes pretty much lost it after killing Shane which makes him a lot better in my opinion.
Rick's become one of my favourite characters in season 3, just seems to want to get on with it, whatever the task. He's also gone crazy, after Lori's death, which makes his character a lot more interesting!
