It was released internationally in June 2000 and in the United States and Canada on March 27, 2001. The album was primarily produced by Sam Watters, Louis Biancaniello, and Ric Wake, with additional production and writing from Evan Rogers, Carl Sturken, and Ray Ruffin. While the album only reached number one hundred and sixty-eight on the US Billboard 200, it entered the top five and the top ten on the majority of the charts in Europe and Oceania.
Freak of Nature is the second studio album by American recording artist Anastacia, released in Europe and the United Kingdom on November 26, 2001, and later in the United States and Australia on June 18, 2002. It was primarily produced by Ric Wake with occasional production from Sam Watters, Louis Biancaniello, and Richie Jones. The album debuted and peaked at number twenty-seven on the US Billboard 200, while it reached number four in the United Kingdom and number one in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland. For the US and Australian edition of the album, three tracks were remixed and a new track, "I Thought I Told You That", was recorded. A collector's edition of the album was released on November 4, 2002, in Europe, featuring a bonus disc containing "I Thought I Told You That", as it only appeared on the American & Australian versions of the standard album, a recording of classic "Someday My Prince Will Come", plus three remixes and two live recordings. The collector's edition was released in America & Australia in February 2003, and the bonus disc contained a similar tracklisting, however, included "Boom", a single released by Anastacia for the 2002 FIFA World Cup, instead of "I Thought I Told You That", as it appeared on the standard version of the album, and also included an extra track, "Love Is a Crime", a single released by Anastacia for the soundtrack to the film Chicago. Some editions of the album are not playable on Windows or Mac.
Anastacia is the eponymous third studio album by American recording artist Anastacia. It was released in Europe and Australia on March 29, 2004 and in Japan on June 9, 2004. The album peaked at the top of the albums charts in several countries, including Australia, Belgium, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
The album was never released in Anastacia's native United States, despite plans for an August 30, 2005 release with a different track listing from that of the European version, which would replace "Sexy Single" with the B-side "Underground Army". The plans were canceled for unknown reasons.
Heavy Rotation is the fourth studio album by American recording artist Anastacia. It is her first studio album in over four years, since her self-titled third studio album Anastacia released in 2004. According to Anastacia, the album title also has a deeper meaning to it, referring to the fact that life rotates and you get through the "heavy" things. The album was released on October 27, 2008 in Europe and the United Kingdom, and was released in America on February 17, 2009, with three tracks remixed an a brand new bonus track, "Naughty".
The album was ranked at #10 by Billboard magazine's online "Readers' Poll: 10 Best Albums of 2008".
