" Alec Guiness would have said that he saved "Star Wars" from shit maybe as he was notorious for "hating it" which I can understand because when we look at what he did before those films it is a shame that the majority of people only will point at his role here while he did fantastic films for a huge bunch of directors and was necessary addition for the man of historic epics, David Lean. To be honest I can't say any film which would not rise up to the occassion when Alec arrives on the screen."
